I had the honor and privilege of gracing the stage at the very first Rebel Salute… Tony Rebel my brother respect. 30 years of doing anything and it coincides with the 30th anniversary of “Cool Runnings”. I’m so proud of you, it means everything to me.

I’ve been to Rebel Salute 15 to 20 times and every year it just gets better and better. What I love about it, they don’t just focus on the top tier artistes , you can go there and hear the new superstars of reggae music. People come from all over the world , so this 30th anniversary you can’t afford to miss it.

As a young man growing up in Jamaica I wanted to be a host on a show. 

I use to take the trip to St. Elizabeth just to be on Rebel Salute…. For all reggae fans all over the world make sure you’re in Jamaica this January as Rebel Salute turns 30, the best reggae festival anywhere.

I travelled to Jamaica from Japan  every year between 2002-2006 to attend  Rebel salute. Then I moved to Jamaica  in 2007 and I have never missed a Rebel Salute since then. I think it is the best Reggae festival in Jamaica. It has a great concept, I learn about Rasafarian culture, enjoy great music, the herb curb, the vegetarian food and the oceanside.
